Understanding Tickets, Routes, and Drivers

Tickets

A Ticket represents a package destined for delivery to a customer, facilitated by one of your company's drivers. Whether it's a parcel, a service request, or any other item requiring delivery, the Ticket encapsulates the necessary information for smooth and efficient distribution.

How does it work?

Creation by Admin: The process begins with the admin creating a Ticket within the Lumyri platform. This Ticket contains vital details such as the recipient's address, delivery instructions, and any specific requirements.

Assignment to Route: Once the Ticket is created, it is seamlessly integrated into the existing route management system. The admin assigns the Ticket to a designated route, ensuring optimal routing and scheduling efficiency.

Delivery by Driver: With the Ticket assigned to a route, it is ready for delivery by one of your company's drivers. Whether it's a same-day delivery or scheduled for a future date, our drivers are equipped to handle the task with precision and professionalism.

Routes

Routes represent the predefined paths taken by drivers to deliver goods or products to customers. These paths are meticulously planned to minimize travel time, fuel consumption, and overall operational costs.

How it works?

Integration With Tickets: When a package needs to be delivered, it's linked with a specific route. This means that each package has a route assigned to it, making sure it gets to where it needs to go.

Optimization through API: Lumyri's API leverages advanced algorithms to provide drivers with the shortest and most efficient routes possible. By optimizing routes in real-time, we minimize delays and maximize delivery efficiency.

Helping Drivers Navigate: Routes are like directions for drivers. They help drivers know exactly where to go, so they don't get lost on the way to delivering packages.

Drivers

Drivers are responsible for delivering tickets to customers. They follow routes that are already planned out to ensure they reach the right places. This means they're in charge of making sure customers get their tickets and solving any problems that come up along the way.

How do Drivers work?

Following Planned Routes: Drivers stick to the routes that are already set up for them. These routes show them the best way to get to each customer's location.

Ensuring Timely Deliveries: Drivers make sure they deliver tickets on time. This means they need to be efficient and follow the schedule closely.

Resolving Issues: If there are any problems during delivery, like a package getting lost or damaged, drivers take care of it. They make sure customers are happy and everything gets sorted out smoothly.
